A warm hello to parents and young learners here in Waconia! I’m thrilled to be here to continue my clinical practice and provide behavioral therapy for young children diagnosed with autism or related disorders, and typically developing children of all ages.
The start of school has certainly brought new routines and expectations for our early learners, especially Kindergarten, Pre-School and ECE students. This can be a chaotic time for your child and for your family. If your child isn’t adapting to simple routines or your family is feeling overwhelmed by certain behaviors, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) techniques are designed to nurture, advance, and progress your child’s needs.
The goal of my practice is to work alongside your child who may need behavioral services in order to adapt to new routines and/or settings, and to improve certain skill sets to ensure they continue to thrive across all settings.

How I would like to help in our community:
I have a strong passion for verbal behavior and early intervention services. I believe that we can achieve the greatest gains with early learners that need intensive interventions.
As a clinician, it is my goal to serve the families in this community who are seeking in-home services to help their child(ren) reach their full potential. Additionally, I focus on treating the whole family by providing parent and caregiver training to ensure continuity of care.
Superior Steps therapies are child-led and family-centric. We utilize games, highly preferred toys, & educational activities throughout our sessions. We conduct sessions in the home, community, and in educational settings. All initial intake appointments will consist of records review, followed by a 1-2 hour observation and assessment of your child. The results of the assessment will guide our treatment decisions to develop an individualized treatment plan. We are happy to partner with psychologists, pediatricians, social workers and educators as needed.
My career and family has brought me back to Waconia and I am excited to help positively impact young learners in this area. As I introduce my practice to help meet the needs of Waconia families I’d be honored to meet with yours and welcome any questions.
