Annie Prchal

Annie graduated from Capella University with her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2016, and has worked in a variety of settings (i.e. in-home, center, community, and schools) in Florida, Denver, and now in Minnesota. Prior to starting her graduate career, Annie received her bachelors degree in Speech Language Hearing Sciences at the University of Minnesota, which introduced her to children affected with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Annie first began providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services at an in-center facility in Jacksonville, Florida where she worked with children with specials needs. After this experience, she discovered that she had a passion to continue to learn and help individuals

with disabilities succeed in reaching their full potential. Annie then pursued her Master’s degree in ABA in order to expand her knowledge of the field.

Annie’s experience includes early intervention, social skills, functional communication training, verbal behavior training, instructional design, parent training, staff training, and functional analysis. Annie has also supervised individuals locally and remotely pursuing certification since 2018.

With her clients, Annie hopes to bring meaningful behavior change that is functional and important to increase quality of life by collaborating with parents and other professionals. In addition, she’s interested in staff training on ABA applications in order to ensure student success and generalization of skills across multiple settings. Annie has created several trainings on behavior analytic procedures and principles and has trained individuals working with special populations. As a Clinical Director and CEO at Superior Steps ABA, she is responsible for conducting the initial intake and assessments, overseeing client progress, programming, and supervising behavior specialists and technicians. Annie also has experience with conducting numerous assessments and curriculum such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, PDDBI, SRS-2, and the Vineland-III. She values evidence-based practices and promoting effective and scientifically-based procedures with her clients.
